While at bareMinerals, I collaborated closely with the global creative team to design graphics for our North American channels including Sephora, Ulta Beauty, Macy's, Dillard's as well as our military and spa locations. Following the creative direction of the global toolkits, I leveraged the photographic and copy assets to develop these graphics for use in-store and for events.
At bareMinerals, my handwriting became an integral part of the recent rebranding work. I collaborated with our art directors and designers to create custom hand-lettering for their projects. My handwriting was featured in TV spots, packaging, social posts, home pages, educational materials, print collateral, promotional items and store graphics.
In addition to the lettering work for bareMinerals, the Buxom art director enlisted me to create custom lettering for a few of their social posts.
While designing for the Gap, I had the chance to work on a wide range of print projects including gift guides, press kits, invitations, magazine ads, direct mail pieces and signage.
Some of my favorite work while at the Gap was designing the window displays for babyGap and GapKids. Bringing these windows to life gave me the chance to collaborate with talented window stylists, copywriters, print producers and prop vendors. That teamwork made the creative process so much fun.
These are just for me. A little handlettering. Some illustration. All of it is on Instagram. instagram.com/maykeylee
During my career, it's given me great joy to work on logos and type designs. Here are some of the projects I designed for a wide variety of clients.
